The BYD SHARK 6 DMO is an AWD plug-in hybrid double-cab bakkie combining strong performance, off-road capability and everyday comfort. Its 1.5-litre turbo hybrid system works with the BYD Blade Battery to produce 321 kW and 650 Nm, while a premium cabin, intelligent technology and practical utility features make it suited to both work and lifestyle use.
The SHARK 6 combines a 1.5-litre turbo high-power engine with the BYD Blade Battery to deliver 321 kW and 650 Nm of torque. It also offers a braked towing capacity of up to 2,500 kg, giving it the performance required for work, travel and everyday adventure.
Double wishbone suspension at the front and rear is complemented by Mud, Sand and Snow terrain modes. Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, Vehicle Dynamic Control and Auto-Hold provide additional support when tackling challenging terrain.
Inside, the SHARK 6 combines comfort with smart technology, including a 15.6-inch intelligent rotating touchscreen on the Premium model, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, voice assistance and a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system.
The SHARK 6 includes seven SRS airbags, ISOFIX child-seat anchorage points and front and rear cross-traffic alert with braking. Rear-seat comfort is supported by a spacious cabin, while V2L functionality and front and rear USB connections add everyday practicality.
